The Early Music Association of N.S.W.
Founded in 1977, the EMA of NSW is an association whose members
are made up of professional and amateur musicians, instrument makers, teachers, students and concert-goers.
The Association aims to promote interest in all forms of Western music prior to the 19th Century by encouraging the study and performance of early music using authentic instruments, principles and interpretation,
and by promoting research and editing.
It seeks to foster communication between people active in
early music, form liaisons with similar organisations and provide
opportunities for social and informative events.
To this end, the EMA provides to its members:

The Early Music Newsletter, published six times a year, contains articles, reviews, classifieds and a complete Diary of concerts and events throughout NSW and other States.
